The BIO: [Skip Directly to The Blog]
This is Greg's 2nd “tour of duty” at 94.9MIXfm. The first time “I was sandwiched between Adrienne Walker and Delilah” as the host of the early evening show from 6-9pm. Now, he's a part of the Bobby Rich Morning-MIX (with Mrs. G, Big Al and Erin)!
Speaking of family, Greg and his wife Kim returned to the Old Pueblo after living in Boston for a few years. “We both have family and a lot of old friends who live in Tucson, and with the birth of our first child (09/07), we knew it was time to come home.”
Greg is a hometown kid. A graduate of both Sabino H.S., and the University of Arizona, “No matter where we go, it seems like I run into somebody I grew up with or worked for. It still feels like a small town.”
Greg likes:
Red Sox baseball, Wildcat basketball, Coffee, golf with Dad, backyard BBQ’s, draft beer, and mobster movies.
Greg dislikes:
Rudeness, people who lack compassion for others, the New York Yankees, and drivers that wait for an “invitation” before proceeding left on a green arrow!
EXTRA CREDIT: Greg has a musical background (drums & percussion), and has written and performed many of the parody songs and special feature program segments heard during the Bobby Rich Morning-MIX.

I sat through one of the worst movies of ALL-time this weekend. PAUL BLART: Mall Cop. It's awful. Just plain bad. NO redeeming qualities at all (except I did recognize a scene shot at a Boston-area mall we used to shop at). But that didn't make it any better. Even for Kevin James/King Of Queens' fans (aka my wife, Kim) it wasn't worth it. The closest thing we could get to a laugh was sort of a half-smirk, half-scoff, exhaling of oxygen...I think that happened twice.
Save your time and money for something more worthwhile, like watching Rio Nuevo progress.

While we're on this topic, let me add another title you should avoid when at the video store: "How To Lose Friends and Alienate People." Cast looked good...Jeff Bridges, Kirsten Dunst, Simon Pegg, Megan Fox, Gillian Anderson. But it was NOT. Lots of cliches, Bridges was only in it for a nano second, and Kirsten Dunst cannot act. I thought that might be the case after watching Spiderman and Mona Lisa Smile, but this film confirmed it.
On the other hand, I would absolutely recommend "Up" (PG) or "Away We Go." (R)
