*SKIP BIO FOR BOBBY'S BLOG*
Bobby Rich was born.
This came as a big surprise to his parents, Marge & Howard, who thought they were getting a puppy. And to his sisters, Marcia & Jan, who thought they were The Brady Bunch. He got started on the radio when he was 14. He just kept doing it because:
"I love what I do and I DO what I LOVE"
- He loves Tucson too. He came here in 1992 and never left. The rest of the story is long and not really all that fascinating. However... if you really want to know more information than anyone would ever need, click here
- Or if you are a broadcaster, a wanna-be broadcaster or just a really weird person--read this really long article in broadcast publication Inside Radio.

Do you ever read something that says EXACTLY what you wanted to say but didn't know how?
I get hundreds of eMail messages. Some from friends and family. Others from listeners, co workers and my peers in broadcasting. Some are funny. Others informative, inspiring and important.
Today I received two that really hit home. Since their words are so powerful and moving I wanted to share them with you.

Every year about this time--mid August--I get a combo order of sweet, sad, nauseous, nostalgic and innocent feelings. It's when I think of what the beginning of a new school year felt like.

Funerals--Fun or sad?

Yes, I wore Crocs to a funeral and Linda Ronstadt was there. The saddest part of any death, especially of someone who touches so many lives like a Tim Russert or George Carlin, is that after a week or so of glowing tributes, it's as if they were never on this planet.
